Our Mission
Ooume, a small-batch curly haircare brand, approached us to create a national launch campaign. As a small-batch company targeting BIPOC mothers, their primary goal was to build an emotional connection with their ideal customers. Our mission: secure feature stories and founder interviews to tell Ooumeβs story and build credibility in a saturated market.
Our Strategy
For this short-term project, we tapped into our network of beauty journalists to amplify Ooumeβs heartfelt mission and story. We created a strategic media campaign that shared the founderβs entrepreneurial journey, the gap she identified in the baby haircare market and her experiences as a new mother.
Our Results
Our launch campaign led to media coverage for Ooume in beauty and trade publications such as Beauty Independent, BeautyMatter and NaturallyCurly. We also secured brand profiles in local media, including Cincinnati Business Courier and The Cincinnati Herald.
